Cat Friendly Practice

Cat_Friendly_Logo_lowResDid you know that there is an American Association of Feline Practitioners? This association, created in 1971, is a professional organization representing feline practitioners who are passionate about the care of cats. The AAFP is dedicated to advancing the field of feline medicine and surgery by setting the standards of feline care through the publication of practice guidelines, and to improve the health and welfare of cats by supporting high standards of practice, continuing education, and scientific investigation. Countryside Veterinary Clinic has veterinary members in this association!

In addition to being a member of the American Association of Feline practitioners, Countryside Veterinary Clinic was awarded the Cat Friendly Practice distinction by the AAFP for implementing cat friendly standards and protocols to reduce stress and to improve feline healthcare!
